You will be responsible for supporting the Group IT Finance Business Partner in working closely with key non-finance stakeholders across the business, with a primary focus on IT and Project delivery (Strategic Projects and IT Transformation). You will work with the relevant finance teams in both the UK and international markets to contribute to the review of monthly performance, prepare reporting to senior management and assist in aspects of financial modelling and analysis of strategic investments and aspects of IT Transformation. You will be formulating partnerships across the global IT function; partnering with and leveraging a network of local market finance teams. You will be accountable for: Partnering with key internal stakeholders on BAU and Project spend in the UK. This requires working closely with the UK Finance Reporting team. Developing close partnerships with local market Finance teams to track and understand the wider pan-European/Mexican costs and benefits associated with IT. Assisting in the presentation of monthly management accounts analysis, particularly around the IT cost base and associated risks and opportunities to the senior team (finance and non-finance) working closely with the Group IT Finance Business Partner. Responsible for helping in the E2E journey for preparing and reviewing annual Budgets and Reforecasts in the UK with a link into the Markets helping co-ordinate, consolidate and review the overall Group IT position. Support development of business cases, working with Group Change team to provide and review financial management of projects and benefits realisation Support overseas finance teams on best practices with an emphasis on streamlining processes where possible given legacy processes and cultural differences. Liaising closely with in-country finance teams and other relevant central functions such as Group FPA to ensure that project activities are co-ordinated and actioned effectively. Ensuring effective and regular communication of project proposals and progress reports, obtaining guidance and approval as required to advance activities and resolve issues Recommending actions based on your analysis and appraisal to the appropriate stakeholder. Requirements of the Role Qualifications: Recognised accounting qualification ACA / CIMA / ACCA Post Qualified experience desirable Knowledge: Strong demonstrable numeracy skills at appropriate level Highly commercial mind-set and capability Ability to digest information and relate to the task at hand Skills: Strong interpersonal communication skills including influencing and presenting skills Effective organisation, prioritisation and time management Excellent analysis and problem solving skills Excellent PC Skills (MS office), particularly in Excel (use of formulas and pivots etc) Ability to prepare reports and recommendations Fluent English written and verbal communication skills Flexible approach, to ensure deadlines are met and overseas support is delivered as required The ability to manage resource effectively – i.e. people/tasks/time etc. Experience: Experience of communicating at all levels Experience of business partnering in a project environment with non-finance stakeholders would be advantageous Experience of working in a fast paced dynamic environment A proven track record of being able to work autonomously when required Other: Some overseas travel may be required as part of the role. Essential Criteria Recognised accounting qualification ACA / CIMA / ACCA Effective communication skills – including the ability to give feedback, influence stakeholders and possess effective presentation skills Experience of business partnering in a project environment with non-finance stakeholders ideal.
